The local experience
Hruboskalsko is an area of sandstone towers in the Bohemian Paradise, near Turnov. Trails and viewpoints pass among rock formations and stretches of forest. The outing should be planned as a hike with elevation changes, choosing a circuit rather than trying to cover the entire area.
Trosky is the ruin of a castle built on two basalt rises in the Bohemian Paradise. The towers known as Baba and Panna form a silhouette different from the region's sandstone towers. The visit combines remnants of defensive architecture and landscape viewing.
