How many days
One day allows visiting the abbey and walking around the core of the peninsula. Staying longer helps those who want more walks in the surrounding area.
When to go
May to June and September are usually pleasant for the peninsula's elevation. July and August can be hot. From December to February the days are short and the lake wind heightens the feeling of cold.
The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.
Do you need a car?
The bus arrives at the village core. Within it, walk; arrivals by lake should account for the climb up to the abbey.
