About Hámori-tó
Hámori-tó occupies a valley in Lillafüred, in the mountainous part of Miskolc. The water was dammed in an area of former industrial use. Wooded slopes surround the lake, creating an environment different from the city center.
The shore walk lets you view the landscape without relying on water activities. In the nearby surroundings, paths and terraces relate to the Szinva stream and its waterfall, whose flow varies according to seasonal conditions. The area works as a gentle nature walk, with some sections of elevation change.
Arrange transport to Lillafüred separately from central Miskolc transfers. If you want to add a ride on the forest railway, check the line and operating days in advance. The landscape can be explored on foot without entering establishments along the shore.
