About Park Maksimir

The landscape design combines stretches of vegetation with open spaces and park structures supporting the visit. Paths allow choosing a short loop or proceeding to areas farther from the entrance. You don’t need to cover the entire grounds for the visit to make sense.
Maksimir can take part of an afternoon, especially for those staying more than two days in the capital. The trees change appearance through the year; between December and February days are usually cold and short. To get there, use the tram and complete the trip on foot.
