A region to enjoy
at your own pace.

Salzburg shows the relationship between music, the baroque city and the alpine landscape. The fortress above the roofs helps with orientation; the Salzach separates the old core from the Mirabell gardens. A visit can be organized by banks and hills.

Mozart’s birthplace is a museum, while musical performances take place in different venues. Choosing by repertoire and duration makes more sense than trying to add any concert at the end of the day. The cathedral and the DomQuartier complete the reading of the central buildings.

Hellbrunn lies outside the pedestrian core and deserves its own time. On the Mönchsberg, paths and viewpoints give a perspective of the urban ensemble. To continue to the Salzkammergut, use Salzburg as a connection, but set aside days for the lakes.

Werfen sits in the Salzach corridor south of the state capital. Hohenwerfen castle and the Eisriesenwelt cave justify a stay with two separate periods, especially for those arriving by train who need to organize mountain access.

This destination brings together 2 cities: Salzburgo, Werfen.
