A region to enjoy
at your own pace.

Kitzbühel is known for skiing, but also allows a summer trip between the historic center, lake and mountains. Hahnenkamm and Kitzbüheler Horn sit on opposite sides of the valley and call for distinct programs. The train station makes arrival to Tyrol easier.

The Streif gives sporting context to the Hahnenkamm. Exploring the area on foot requires choosing routes by slope, not assuming the race descent is an easy walk. On the Horn, high-altitude accesses and vegetation add another reading of the landscape.

The Schwarzsee offers a nearby, lower alternative for arrival day or for a day with variable weather. The operation of each cableway should guide your plans.
