Mendoza · Mendoza

Maipú

Maipú is a city of the Gran Mendoza where the history of wine appears in museums and wineries. Plaza 12 de Febrero has a central fountain and tree-lined paths. The Museo Nacional del Vino y la Vendimia occupies the former chalets of Giol and Gargantini. In other parts of the department, Bodega Trapiche and Bodega La Rural – Museo del Vino welcome visitors interested in production and viticultural heritage.

Purmamarca

Purmamarca sits beside the Cerro de los Siete Colores, with compact streets around the plaza. The Iglesia Santa Rosa de Lima preserves adobe architecture and religious paintings. The Paseo de los Colorados passes by red slopes; the Salinas Grandes require a separate road trip via Ruta Nacional 52.

Tupungato

Tupungato is the town in the northern Valle de Uco, next to the high-altitude vineyards of the Cordón del Plata. Andeluna, in Gualtallary, and Atamisque, in San José, accept visits by reservation. The town center has services for your stay; the two wineries are in rural districts, with transfers along RP 89 and RP 86.

Maimará

Maimará is in the Río Grande valley, between Purmamarca and Tilcara. In front of the village, the hills of the Paleta del Pintor have layers of different colors. The lookout by RN9 shows the mountains, the cultivated areas and the center near the square, on a roadside stop through the Quebrada.

Santa Ana

Santa Ana is located in southern Misiones, along the RN12 corridor. On the outskirts of town, the Jesuit-Guaraní complex preserves remains of the temple, a semicircular stairway and structures for cultivation and water management. Paths through the vegetation connect the spaces of the former reduction.

Neuquén · Bariloche and Rota dos Sete Lagos

Villa La Angostura

Villa La Angostura lies on the northern shore of Nahuel Huapi, in the province of Neuquén. Bahía Mansa marks the port area and the Quetrihué peninsula leads to the Bosque de Arrayanes. Río Correntoso and Lago Espejo round out the nearby visits. It is a base for starting the Ruta 40 section toward San Martín de los Andes.

Cachi

Cachi is a village in the Valles Calchaquíes, with adobe houses and streets near the Plaza 9 de Julio. The Iglesia San José and the Museo Arqueológico Pío Pablo Díaz are next to that core. On the way along Ruta Provincial 33, the Parque Nacional Los Cardones features columnar cacti and interpretive trails in high-altitude landscapes.

El Chaltén

El Chaltén is located at the confluence of the Fitz Roy and de las Vueltas rivers, near the northern sector of Los Glaciares. The town is a base for hikes to Laguna de los Tres and Laguna Torre. Chorrillo del Salto and Mirador de los Cóndores offer shorter route options. The pace of your stay depends on the routes chosen and mountain conditions.

El Calafate

El Calafate is on the southern shore of Lago Argentino and serves as the air arrival point for the southern sector of Los Glaciares. The walkways to Perito Moreno require a road trip, while the Laguna Nimez Reserve is close to the urban area. The Glaciarium presents glacier formation; Lago Roca adds a landscape of forest and steppe.

San Ignacio

San Ignacio lies along the corridor of Ruta Nacional 12, between the Misiones forest and the Paraná River. San Ignacio Miní displays the layout and buildings of a Jesuit-Guarani mission. Casa de Horacio Quiroga brings the route closer to literature; Parque Provincial Teyú Cuaré and Parroquia San Ignacio de Loyola add nature and local life.

Salta · Salta and Cafayate

Salta

Salta is the capital of the province, in the Lerma Valley. Plaza 9 de Julio brings together the cathedral, the Cabildo and the Museo de Arqueología de Alta Montaña. The Museo Güemes and the Basílica de San Francisco broaden the historical circuit. Cerro San Bernardo offers a view of the city, and the Quebrada de San Lorenzo brings the walk close to the yungas vegetation.
