How many days
One day for the Anders Zorn museum and house and for Nusnäs. With two days you'll have time to circle Lake Siljan, including Rättvik and Vidablick.
When to go
From June to August the days are usually long, with swimming in Siljan and open houses; Midsommar in June is widely celebrated. Winter usually brings snow and severe cold, with skiing and the Vasaloppet on the first Sunday in March.
The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.
Do you need a car?
Not for Mora town centre. For Nusnäs, Vidablick and the villages around Siljan a car is very helpful; there are regional buses with few departures and bikes to rent in summer.
