How many days

Two or three days are enough for Punta Brava, one or two cays by boat and the mangrove boat tour.

When to go

Warm all year. From December to April there is usually less rain and the sea is clearer. Avoid holidays, Carnival, Holy Week and August, when piers and beaches get crowded.

The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.

Do you need a car?

Not for the cays, which are reached by boat. A car helps to get to Punta Brava via the bridge and to reach Chichiriviche, about 36 km away.
