How many days

Two days for Reinebringen, Hamnøy, Å and Nusfjord. With three days you can include Haukland beach and a boat trip through the Reinefjord.

When to go

From June to August the days are long and trails are snow-free; the midnight sun typically runs from late May to mid-July. From September to March the northern lights appear on clear nights. The cod season, from February to April, fills the drying racks.

The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.

Do you need a car?

Useful for Nusfjord, Haukland and the villages along the E10. Without a car there are buses along the E10 with limited schedules, and the ferry from Bodø arrives at Moskenes.
