Built with the places on this page. No rush: it's paced so you have time to see them.

One day in Bodø
  1. Morning
    Saltstraumen

Saltstraumen is a strait near Bodø where water moves between the fjord and the sea with the changing tide. The experience consists of watching the movement from the shore or joining a guided activity on the water.

  2. Afternoon
    Norsk Luftfartsmuseum

The Norwegian Aviation Museum is in Bodø, beside the airport area. The collections present the country’s civil and military aviation, with aircraft and displays that help explain the role of flights in linking regions separated by mountains and sea.

  3. Late afternoon
    Jektefartsmuseet

The Jektefartsmuseet presents the coastal trade that linked northern Norway to other ports. The museum is located in Bodøsjøen and centres on a jekt-type vessel used to transport goods along the coast.

Check before you go. Opening hours and days change, and places may close for renovations, holidays or events. This itinerary is a suggestion from Cidade Turismo, not a commitment: plan yours by checking directly with each place you intend to visit.
