About Örö
Örö is located in the Archipelago Sea and is part of the Archipelago National Park. The island combines low coastal environments, paths and buildings linked to former military use. The landscape lets you experience part of the southwestern island group without describing it as a single landmass.
The visit is developed on foot after disembarkation. Routes bring visitors to beaches, meadows and vegetated areas, with historical sections along the way. The pace should follow the boat itinerary and visiting conditions; there is no guarantee of daily access in every month.
Access is usually organized from Kasnäs, with services more concentrated between May and September. Confirm the round-trip crossing before leaving Turku, including road arrival at the port. Reserve a full day so the navigation isn’t just a gap between drives.
