About Cayo Paiclá
Cayo Paiclá is in the southern part of Parque Nacional Morrocoy, a few minutes by boat from Tucacas. It has three beaches: Playuela to the north, Playuelita, and in the middle of the cay, Playa Mero.
Playuela and Playuelita are white-sand beaches with clear water, shallow bottoms and vegetation behind. Playa Mero is less frequented because access requires walking about 200 meters through mangrove from the landing pier. The reward is a quiet beach with transparent water.
The beaches have little or no facilities; bring what you need.
Boats to Paiclá depart from Tucacas pier, with the return time agreed.
