About Cayo Boca Seca
Cayo Boca Seca is located in the central-southern part of Parque Nacional Morrocoy, a few minutes by boat from Tucacas. It is a small white-sand cayo with a beach of very shallow, calm water that extends for dozens of meters out to sea.
Because of the shallow water, Boca Seca is popular with families with children and with people who want to stay in the water without waves. On the open-sea side, the water is deeper and bluer.
The cayo usually has stalls and food for sale on weekends and during the high season; on weekdays there is less activity.
Near Boca Seca are other smaller cayos that can be combined on the same boat trip.
