The local experience

The lake of milky-green water in the Loen valley, about 11 km long between mountains and waterfalls, reached by road and, in summer, by boat all the way to the end of the valley beside the Kjenndalsbreen glacier.
The tongue of the Jostedalsbreen glacier that descends from the plateau to the bottom of the Loen valley at the end of Lovatnet, with meltwater waterfalls and a short walk to a viewpoint in front of the ice.
