Levi, Ylläs and Pallas form a slice of Lapland where the choice of base changes the experience. Levi is organized around Sirkka, in the municipality of Kittilä. Ylläs is accessed via Äkäslompolo and Ylläsjärvi, while Pallas brings the trip closer to the national park trails.

Levitunturi and Yllästunturi host resort activities and lift systems run by their operators. In Pallas, the visit focuses on routes and the upland scenery. Allocating the sectors to different days avoids making the road the main activity of the trip.

Kittilä serves as the air gateway; Kolari and Muonio can be included in the itinerary depending on the chosen base. Snow usually guides some activities between November and April, and snow-free hikes are typically concentrated between June and September. Decide the focus before booking nights and transfers.
