About Alvar Aallon ateljee

Studio Aalto was created to house the work of the architecture office after the team outgrew the residence. It is in Munkkiniemi, within walking distance of the Aalto House. The building is part of the Aalto Works World Heritage ensemble.

Drawing rooms, meeting areas and the relationship with the courtyard help to understand an office designed for architectural production. Light and materials play a role in composing the spaces. The visit complements the house without repeating the domestic interior experience.

See the interiors by joining an organised tour and book in advance on the official website. Check the sequence if you also want to enter the residence, as access points are separate. Travel can be made by public transport to the neighbourhood and on foot between the two sites.
