How many days
Half a day for Kronborg and the center; a full day including the maritime museum and a stop at the Louisiana. With two days you can explore the northern coast, with the beaches of Hornbæk and Gilleleje.
When to go
From May to September days are usually long and mild, good for walking the battlements of Kronborg. In August the Shakespeare festival often takes place. In winter, from November to March, it is cold with wind from the strait; bring a coat.
The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.
Do you need a car?
No. The station is in the center, and Kronborg, the maritime museum and the convent are less than 15 minutes on foot. A car only helps for the beaches on the northern coast.
