Piemonte Capital

Turim

Capital of Piemonte and former seat of the Casa de Savoia, Turim brings together around Piazza Castello the Palazzo Madama, the Musei Reali and the Duomo, which holds the Santo Sudário. Nearby are the Museo Egizio and the Mole Antonelliana, with the Museo Nazionale del Cinema. Outside the center are the Basilica di Superga, the Reggia di Venaria, Stupinigi, the Lingotto and the Juventus stadium; the Langhe, land of Barolo, are about an hour away.
