About Legoland Billund

Legoland Billund opened on 7 June 1968, next to the Lego factory, to display models built from the bricks the company received from visitors around the world. It was the brand's first park.

The heart of the park is Miniland, with more than 25 million bricks: the port of Nyhavn, Castelo de Amalienborg, the Øresund bridge, villages from Scandinavia, towns from the Netherlands and Germany, an airport and ships that move in the water. Around it, themed areas such as the pirates, the knights, the polar area, the American West and Duplo Land for little ones bring together roller coasters, water rides, boats and 4D cinema.

There are attractions for all ages, with minimum-height rules on some of them, and free-build areas spread throughout the park. Many attractions are outdoors: on rainy days, bring a rain poncho. The park is open seasonally, generally from spring to autumn, and has special Halloween programming in October.
