How many days
One day is enough for the Titlis and the monastery as a return trip from Lucerna. With two days, include Trübsee and Brunni. Those who come to ski usually stay a week.
When to go
From June to September, for hiking and seeing the lakes without snow. The ski season usually runs from November to April, with longer-lasting snow on the high Titlis. In May and November, some cable cars often close for maintenance.
The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.
Do you need a car?
No. The train arrives from Lucerna, and the gondolas and the monastery are a few minutes' walk from the station. There are local buses within the village.
