Wexford

Wexford is the county town of the same name, on the edge of the Slaney estuary, with narrow streets, the Bull Ring, the ruins of Selskar Abbey and the National Opera House. About 4 km away is the Irish National Heritage Park, and on the Hook peninsula, some 40 km away, is the Hook Head lighthouse. South of the town, Johnstown Castle has gardens and a rural museum.
