Dingle
Dingle is the port town of the Dingle Peninsula, with colourful houses, music pubs and fishing boats in the bay. In Irish it is An Daingean; the surrounding area is Gaeltacht. It is the base for the Slea Head Drive, the road that skirts the tip of the peninsula with views of the Blasket Islands, and for the Gallarus Oratory, a stone church of the early Christians.

Kenmare
Kenmare is a small planned town at the head of Kenmare Bay, between the Iveragh Peninsula (of the Ring of Kerry) and the Beara Peninsula. Founded in 1670, it has a triangular street layout with colourful houses, restaurants, craft shops and the local Kenmare lace tradition. Near the centre is the Kenmare Stone Circle, from the Bronze Age.

Killarney
Killarney is the gateway town to County Kerry, on the edge of Killarney National Park, with lakes, woods and mountains a few minutes from the centre. From here you can visit Muckross House, Ross Castle and Torc waterfall inside the park, the Gap of Dunloe and the Ring of Kerry. The centre has shopping streets, music pubs and horse-drawn carriages.
