The city

What to expect from Dingle.

Dingle is the port town of the Dingle Peninsula, with colourful houses, music pubs and fishing boats in the bay. In Irish it is An Daingean; the surrounding area is Gaeltacht. It is the base for the Slea Head Drive, the road that skirts the tip of the peninsula with views of the Blasket Islands, and for the Gallarus Oratory, a stone church of the early Christians.
