How to get there

  • Aéroport Nice Côte d'Azur (NCE) Nice · 18 km
  • Gare d'Antibes 1 km

Approximate road distances. Check flights and bus schedules before you travel.

Via Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE), about 18 km away, by train or bus. TER trains stop at Gare d'Antibes and link the town to Nice and Cannes in a few minutes; some TGVs from Paris also stop there.

How many days

One day lets you see the old town, the Musée Picasso, the harbour and the Fort Carré. With two days, add Cap d'Antibes and the beach at Juan-les-Pins. It works well as a day trip from Nice or from Cannes.

When to go

May, June and September usually have pleasant weather and fewer crowds. July and August are for the beach and festivals in Juan-les-Pins; the sea is usually warmer from July to September. The Villa Eilenroc is closed in August.

The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.

Do you need a car?

No. The old town, the port and Fort Carré are within walking distance of the Gare d'Antibes. Juan-les-Pins has a train station and there are buses to the Cap d'Antibes. A car only helps if you want more freedom to get around the cape.
