  • Terminal de Ómnibus de San Salvador de Jujuy

Approximate road distances. Check flights and bus schedules before you travel.

How many days

One day covers the historic center and the park. Two days allow you to visit the museums with more time, avoiding mixing the flight arrival with all the cultural sites.

When to go

From April to November it usually rains less. Between June and August the nights can be cold. From December to March rains are more frequent, and it's worth alternating walks with museum visits.

The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.

Do you need a car?

The historic core can be explored on foot. Taxis or local transport serve the airport and the bus station. To go out to the Quebrada, choose a bus, shuttle or car depending on the travel arrangements.
