About Brunni
Brunni is on the opposite side of the Titlis, on the north slope of the Engelberg valley, facing south. It’s a quieter area, popular with families and with those who want to hike with glacier views.
The Brunnibahn cable car leaves from Engelberg town centre and reaches Ristis, at about 1,600 m, where there is a restaurant, a playground and a summer toboggan run. From there, a chairlift goes up to the Brunnihütte, a mountain hut at 1,860 m next to the small lake Härzlisee.
Around the Härzlisee there is a short barefoot path. The area has family-friendly trails and via ferratas, such as the Brunnistöckli, with suspension bridges and suitable for beginners.
The summer season usually runs from May to November; in winter there are beginner ski slopes and sledging. Check operations before heading up.
