The city
Nice is the gateway to the Côte d'Azur and the largest city on the coast. It has the Promenade des Anglais on the Baie des Anges, the Vieux Nice with the Cours Saleya market, the Place Masséna, the Colline du Château and the Matisse and Chagall museums. It's the best base for visiting Èze, the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild and Saint-Paul-de-Vence.
