The city

What to expect from Toulouse.

Toulouse, capital of Occitanie, is nicknamed ville rose because of the brique foraine, the clay brick that gives a pinkish hue to the old centre. It has the Basilique Saint-Sernin, the Capitole on the Place du Capitole and the Couvent des Jacobins, and is home to Airbus, with the Cité de l'espace and the Aeroscopia museum. The Garonne and the Canal du Midi cross the city.
