About Hito Tres Fronteras
The Hito Tres Fronteras is located on the western edge of Puerto Iguazú, at the confluence of the Iguazú and Paraná rivers. The visit helps locate the three borders without leaving the city.
The promenade area includes the monument point, observation areas and a craft corridor. The landscape is riverine: the meeting of the waters and the opposite banks play a central role, different from the environment of the waterfalls. The site is not an entrance to the national park.
Allow time to walk around and observe the rivers, without relying on a scheduled presentation. From April to September temperatures are usually more moderate; in the hotter months, choose a cooler time of day. The sky and the appearance of the water vary, so the visit should not depend on a specific sunset.
