About Circuito Inferior
The Lower Circuit crosses part of the forest in Parque Nacional Iguazú and leads to viewpoints at levels below the falls. Visitors see the face of the falls from positions different from the upper walkways, with sections where water, vegetation and rocks approach the path.
The route is about 1,750 meters and includes stairs. That detail changes the choice for those with mobility limitations or who want to reduce exertion. Spray carried by the falls can also reach areas close to the water, depending on the flow and the wind.
Allow time to walk unhurriedly and return via the indicated circuit. From April to September temperatures are usually milder. In October to March, drinking water and breaks become more important. Wear footwear with good grip and check which paths are open before leaving; the visit does not depend on a specific amount of water.
