About Bodega Atamisque

Bodega Atamisque occupies a property in San José, in the Tupungato department, alongside RP 86. This area is the entrance to the Valle de Uco for those arriving via the Los Cerrillos corridor. The vineyards are part of the agricultural landscape near the Cordón del Plata.

The stone roof is a characteristic of the winery building. The low-profile architecture follows the surrounding vineyards and vegetation; the production and tasting spaces are part of the experience of discovering the wine where it is made.

The tourist visit and tasting are by reservation. Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Chardonnay are among the varieties promoted by the estate. Confirm which spaces are included in the program and allow time for rural access. Other services in the Atamisque complex have separate entrances and formats from the winery visit.

Practical information

Cidade Turismo reviews its information regularly, but something may have changed. Check with the place before planning your trip.

How much time to set aside

One period covers the chosen winery visit and tasting. Keep travel along RP 86 outside the experience's scheduled time.

Best time

Between September and November, daytime temperatures tend to be milder. The harvest usually occurs from February to April, but the visit does not require witnessing the harvest.

How to get there

Use RP 86, via San José, for the entrance to Bodega Atamisque, indicated at km 30. If you arrive via RN 40, the access through Los Cerrillos reaches that corridor. Confirm the reservation location, because the bodega and other Atamisque spaces are not the same facility.

Tip

Request the production-visit program when booking. The tasting includes return transportation to be arranged; do not treat it merely as a roadside stop.
