About Reserva Manzano Histórico
The Manzano Histórico is located in the district of Los Chacayes, west of the town of Tunuyán. The area brings together mountain scenery, streams and references to San Martín's passage during his return to Argentina. The visitor core is integrated with the site's memory spaces.
The visit can focus on observing the surroundings and the short routes of the historical core. A brief walk through the visitor areas is not equivalent to a high-altitude mountain outing. Activities such as longer trails, horseback riding and other modalities require specific preparation and providers.
The roughly 40 km route from Tunuyán should be included in planning. Bring appropriate clothing and respect authorized sectors, especially near waterways. The circuit can be combined with the Monumento Retorno a la Patria, but each part has its own interest and viewing time.
