About Bodega La Rural – Museo del Vino
Bodega La Rural was founded by Felipe Rutini in 1885, in the present department of Maipú. The Coquimbito establishment gathers a heritage associated with the history of wine production. Large vessels, tools and work elements help to perceive the changes in the activity.
The heritage route presents objects linked to the production stages and the knowledge of Mendoza winemaking. The current visit is organized as a passage through the historical gallery, with other experiences depending on the program. It is different from the museum installed in the chalets of Giol and Gargantini, also in Maipú.
When booking, check the service format and what is included. If you combine the tour with a tasting, allow time to stay without hurry and return with transport arranged. The interest lies in the contact with the material history of winemaking, in addition to choosing the wines.
