About Parque Municipal Llao Llao
Parque Municipal Llao Llao protects a sector of Andean forest in the west of Bariloche. Coihues, cypresses, caña colihue and other plants make up the environment crossed by the trails. The park is located on the peninsula between Lago Moreno and Nahuel Huapi, within the area visited on the Circuito Chico.
The routes have different lengths and elevation changes. There are options through the forest and others that lead to viewpoints or water edges; choose a combination compatible with the available daylight and the fitness of those traveling. The trailhead is the place to check orientation, rather than improvising shortcuts.
Conservation rules require using marked paths, taking your rubbish with you and respecting the vegetation. The outing does not depend on seeing animals: sounds, trunks, foliage and the forest’s relationship with the lake already make up the visit. Before setting out, check the conditions of the route you plan to do.
