About Isla Victoria
Isla Victoria is located in lake Nahuel Huapi, within the national park of the same name. Tourist boat trips from Puerto Pañuelo arrive at Puerto Anchorena, in the central sector of the island. The boat ride is part of the visit and allows you to observe the tree-lined shores and the surrounding mountains.
After disembarking, the tour continues on foot along the visiting-sector paths. There are woods and trails to explore the coast, including Playa del Toro, which has volcanic sand. Follow the route indicated for the group and keep to the areas designated for visitors.
Some excursions combine the island with the Bosque de Arrayanes on the península de Quetrihué. They are two different places and time at each depends on the chosen program. Allow half a day or a full day depending on the itinerary, bring a windproof layer and arrange ground transport to the port before boarding.
