About Cerro Otto
Cerro Otto is close to Bariloche's urban area. The cable car departs from the lower station about five kilometers from the center. The cabins climb the tree-covered slope up to the upper complex, where the revolving café is located.
The building has windows surrounding the dining area, facing the city, the lakes and the mountain range. The panorama depends on the day's visibility. Nearby there are walking routes and a gallery with replicas of Michelangelo's sculptures.
Between June and September, snow usually changes the use of outdoor spaces and the preparation for the visit. From December to March, the surrounding walks are an option to combine with the ascent. Bring a layer for the mountain and allow time for staying at the top in addition to the cable car ride.
