Dairy shop opened in the late 19th century in the Neustadt, with walls and floor covered in hand-painted tiles. It still operates as a shop selling dairy and regional products.

About Pfunds Molkerei
Pfunds Molkerei was founded by the Pfund brothers, who had been selling milk in Dresden since 1880. The building on Bautzner Straße in the Neustadt dates from 1891, and the ground-floor shop was decorated with Villeroy & Boch tiles in a neo-Renaissance style.
Walls, ceiling and counter are covered with hand-painted tiles featuring cherubs, plants, animals and milk-related scenes, created by Dresden artists from the founder's ideas. In 1997 the place entered the Guinness Book of Records under the title "Schönster Milchladen der Welt", roughly "the most beautiful milk shop in the world."
The shop remains open and sells cheeses, milk, wines and regional Saxony products, with cheese tastings. A café-restaurant operates on the upper floor.
