About KölnTriangle
The KölnTriangle is a 103-meter, 29-storey office building in Deutz, on the right bank of the Reno. It was completed in 2006 and has a triangular floor plan with curved sides, hence the name. During construction, the debate over tall buildings near the cathedral even led UNESCO to place the Dom on the list of World Heritage in Danger for a few years.
On the top floor there is a roughly 400-square-meter glass-enclosed platform with its own entrance. From there you can see the cathedral head-on, the Hohenzollernbrücke, the old town, Groß St. Martin and the Museum Ludwig.
In clear weather the view reaches Düsseldorf to the north and the Siebengebirge hills to the south. The platform closes in case of storms or strong winds.
