The city

What to expect from Oxford.

Oxford is the city of the oldest university in the English-speaking world, about 90 km from London. The honey‑coloured stone centre brings together colleges such as Christ Church, the Biblioteca Bodleiana, the Radcliffe Camera and the Ashmolean Museum, and the rivers Tâmisa and Cherwell, with punting in summer. It is the gateway to the Palácio de Blenheim and the villages of the Cotswolds.
