About Jardim do Morro
The Jardim do Morro is on Gaia's slope, next to the exit of the upper deck of the Ponte Luís I. It is a small terraced garden with trees, benches and sloping lawns facing the river.
In the late afternoon the garden fills with people to watch the sun set over the Ribeira and the houses of Porto on clear days, often with street musicians.
At the top of the garden is the upper station of the Teleférico de Gaia, which descends in cabins to the Cais de Gaia in a few minutes, passing over the roofs of the wine cellars.
The Jardim do Morro metro station, on line D, is beside it, and the Mosteiro da Serra do Pilar sits atop the neighboring escarpment.
