How many days
One day is enough for the Convento de Cristo, the center and the synagogue. With two days you can include the Mata dos Sete Montes and the Aqueduto dos Pegões.
When to go
From April to October. The Festa dos Tabuleiros takes place every four years in July, when the city is very busy. Winter is cold.
The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.
Do you need a car?
Not for the center and the convent, which are explored on foot and involve uphill walking. For the Aqueduto dos Pegões and Fátima, a car is helpful.
