About Marina de Albufeira
Marina de Albufeira is west of the old town, about 2 km away. It was built in the early 2000s and has hundreds of berths for boats.
What stands out most are the surrounding buildings, painted in shades of pink, yellow, blue, green and orange, which contrast with the white of the old town.
From the marina depart boat trips along the coast to Benagil and the caves, dolphin-watching excursions and fishing outings.
Restaurants and bars line the quay, and a pedestrian promenade links the marina to Praia da Baleeira and the town. Beside the marina the cliff forms small coves, and from above you can see the entrance to the harbour with the fishing and pleasure boats.
