The city
Seaside town in the center of the Algarve coast, with an old town of white houses descending to Praia dos Pescadores. To the east is Praia da Falésia, with red and golden cliffs; to the west, the marina and, about 16 km away, the Algar de Benagil and Praia da Marinha, linked by the Sete Vales Suspensos trail.

The local experience
Old quarter of white houses and narrow streets on the cliff, which descends to Praia dos Pescadores, where fishing boats still sit on the sand. A tunnel links the town to the beach.
Beach about 6 km east of Albufeira, with sand and clay cliffs in shades of red, orange and white, topped by pine trees at the top.
Sea cave on the coast of Lagoa, with an opening in the roof through which light falls onto a small internal beach. Visited by boat or guided kayak; landing and access by swimming are prohibited.
