Schengen – Remich Destination Luxembourg Mosela

How to get there

  • Aeroporto de Luxemburgo-Findel (LUX) Findel · 35 km
  • Bahnhof Perl (estação de trem de Perl, na Alemanha) Perl (Alemanha) · 2 km

Approximate road distances. Check flights and bus schedules before you travel.

Check before buying. There is no train service on the Luxembourg side: from the capital, take a bus to Remich and then a bus to Schengen, about 20 minutes. On the other side of the bridge, Perl station in Germany has trains to Trier. By car it’s about 35 km from the capital. Public transport in Luxembourg is free except for first class on trains; confirm in advance.

How many days

Two to three hours are enough for the Museu Europeu, the riverside monuments and the tripoint bridge. Combine the visit with Remich and the Museu A Possen on the same day.

When to go

All year round for the museum. From April to October excursion boats usually stop in the village and the vineyards are green; during the harvest in September and October wineries open for tastings.

The seasons shown are the most usual ones; nature doesn't always follow the calendar.

Do you need a car?

No. The bus from Remich stops in the village centre, and the museum and monuments are on the riverbank, just a few minutes on foot. A car is useful if you want to continue along the Route du Vin or head to the French side.
