About Museo Enzo Ferrari

The Museo Enzo Ferrari, known by the acronym MEF, opened in 2012 in Módena, the founder of Ferrari's hometown. The complex combines the house and workshop of Enzo's father, where he was born in 1898, with a new pavilion designed by architect Jan Kaplicky.

The pavilion has a curved aluminum roof painted yellow, the color of Módena that appears on Ferrari's crest, and resembles a car's hood. Inside, the hall displays road and race cars in exhibitions that change periodically, with projections about the history of motorsport.

In the restored house-workshop is the section dedicated to engines and Enzo Ferrari's life, with documents, photographs and personal objects. The museum also highlights other brands and drivers linked to Módena, a region where sports car factories are concentrated.

The MEF and the Museo Ferrari in Maranello are managed together and have a combined ticket. A bus connects Módena station with both museums.
