The city
Waterford is the oldest city in Ireland, founded by the Vikings in 914 on the banks of the River Suir. The Viking Triangle brings together Reginald's Tower, the Medieval Museum, the Bishop's Palace and the cathedrals; on The Mall is the House of Waterford Crystal. To the west the Copper Coast and the Waterford Greenway begin.
