About Bahía Mansa
Bahía Mansa is located in the port area of Villa La Angostura, on the shore of Nahuel Huapi. The stretch of beach, the docks and the Quetrihué peninsula make up an environment different from the commerce in the center. The bay's name identifies the place, but it should not be taken as a promise of always-calm water.
A visit can be a walk along the shore or the start of a boat activity. Observe port usage and stay in authorized circulation areas, without occupying boarding lanes. The area also serves as a reference when organizing land access to the peninsula park.
From December to March there are usually more visitors on the beaches and higher demand for lake tours. Cold water and wind call for careful selection of the activity, even when the air temperature seems pleasant. Confirm the desired option before you go and allow time for the return to town.

Tip
Use the shoreline as a walk in itself, without treating a visit to the bay as if it were already the arrival at the Bosque de Arrayanes. The bosque is further ahead, at the tip of the peninsula.
