About Quila Quina

Quila Quina occupies a section of the south shore of Lake Lácar, near San Martín de los Andes. The beach, the pier and the woodland allow spending part of the day outside the urban area. The landscape is linked to the territory of the Curruhuinca community, with movement of visitors and residents.

The two forms of access change the experience. The road leaves Ruta 40 and continues on ripio to the pier area, while boat access departs from the urban shore of Lake Lácar depending on available services. Choose the mode before leaving and treat the return as part of the trip planning.

On the shore, walking and breaks can offer more space than an organized activity. From December to March demand for the beach usually increases; water temperature and the presence of wind influence activities. In the cold months from June to September, check the condition of the land route before traveling.
