About Mirador Bandurrias
Mirador Bandurrias overlooks Lago Lácar from the north side of the area near San Martín de los Andes. The path crosses forest and reaches a position elevated above the water. The viewpoint lets you compare the town, the urban shore and the slopes that border the lake.
Access via trail starts in the costanera area, following the section of Juez del Valle street and the crossing over the arroyo Pocahullo. The path enters lands of the Curruhuinca community. Respect the guidance of those responsible for access and stay on the indicated track, without making paths along the edges.
Consider the viewpoint as a hike with ascent and return. The observation stop can vary with wind and visibility, so bring suitable clothing and water. The route to other sectors, such as La Islita, is a distinct extension; do not add it automatically without assessing time and fitness.
